TRAINING
At EHSS we offer a wide range of training classes tailored to your specific needs, with expertise in all radiation training protocols.
Our Training Services include:
RADIATION SAFETY TRAINING
RADIATION SAFETY OFFICER TRAINING
- 8 hour RSO or ARSO training at your facility.
An 8 hour refresher training is required by the CA Department of Public Health every year.
NEW HIRE ORIENTATION
- One on one radiation safety orientation for your new employees.
Radiation safety orientation is required by the CA Department of Public Health if working with radioactive materials.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING
- 1-2 hour spill clean-up and decontamination class about spills, the importance of control, and how we will clean it up.
PACKAGE RECEIPT TRAINING
- Training on proper procedures for checking in isotope packages.
X-RAY TRAINING
- X-ray radiation, cabinet x-ray, and open beam x-ray training, including a 50 question exam and 25 question hands on review that is required by the CA Department of Public Health.
